The ceiling fan is about the same weight as a traditional ceiling fan, but has many more functions. You can choose to operate the decorative side lights (Amber lightbulbs included) And the warmth adjustable backlight either together or independently. It is extremely quiet, but still moves an adequate amount of air throughout the room. It comes with two different mounting options, making it possible to be used on flat ceilings and sloped ceilings.
Honestly I loved it more once it got hung up and I used the remote with lots of options. Fan gives off plenty of air. Lights are beyond my expectation's. Very happy with this purchase!
The motor on this fan was a little hard to install becaude it was a super tight fit and wires are cut to size. Also, the tension screws are the wrong type of screw, I ended up stripping the holes.
Install was all worth it though! Not the typical fan eye sore and nice and quiet. Moves air through the room well. The app and remote work well. If I needed another one I would buy more.
I love this light now that I have it installed, but it was a lot of work to get there. The light came nearly packed and the directions are pretty clear.
The light is very attractive. The Edison-style bulbs, which are thoughtfully included, add nice character. In addition to the direct light from the bulbs, there is an LED light panel above the fan that creates indirect light. With the remote, you can turn on just the bulbs, just the panel or both.
The fan has six speeds, and even though the blades are small the fan generates a lot of power. It also runs nice and quietly.
This light is well made and not difficult to install. It looks modern but also looks great in my log cabin. I will be replacing more in the near future.
